I came into this work the way many therapists do – through my own lived experience of early loss and trauma, and the quiet ways it shapes who we become long before we have language for it. Those experiences taught me how deeply past hurts settle into us, and how transformative it can be to have a safe place to explore your story with someone who truly sees you.
My desire to help others led me into the field of social work. For over ten years, I have worked in a variety of practice settings including child welfare, crisis counseling, and private practice. These experiences helped me connect with my greatest passion: helping adults and teens feel more grounded in who they are and more connected to themselves and others. It is my great privilege to support others as they find moments of healing when something that has felt heavy or confusing for too long finally begins to make sense.
Therapy is not just a service I provide-it’s a relationship, a practice, and a space where your story becomes something you no longer have to navigate alone.
I work with older teens and adults who are thoughtful, self-aware, and often carrying more than they let on. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, life transitions, or a quiet sense of disconnection—and are beginning to notice how earlier experiences shape the way they relate to themselves and others today.
Therapy with me is especially supportive for those who want more than surface-level coping skills and are ready to understand their inner world with compassion, depth, and care.
I specialize in supporting:
I am deeply committed to creating a therapy space that is affirming, inclusive, and grounded in respect. I welcome and support LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients with care, humility, and openness – honoring each person’s identity and lived experience.
My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens when you feel seen, safe, and supported. I use a relational, insight oriented approach that allows us to explore deeper emotional patterns and build practical tools for everyday life. I Incorporate traditional talk therapy modalities like psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, narrative, and attachment focused therapies with brainspotting, a brain based therapy that allows us to access and process what lives beyond words.
